The International Sales Manager is responsible for the Southern European area. He/she prospects and develops new customers in the retail, out of home and business to business area. The International Sales Manager is a strong individual able to make the difference in both the “business building” activities and “customer relationships”. However, the focus is on new business.
Accountabilities: • The International Sales Manager acts as Mexma’s figurehead within his region • Recommends on priority setting for the region and insures flawless in-market execution • Actively prospects key customers and drives the Mexma turnover according to the business plan objectives • Consistently tracks & reviews business performance against AOP & impact of all major activities and takes action when necessary • Develops customer activities to maximize the growth opportunities • These business building activities must reflect the Mexma vision and be aligned with the customers strategies. They are elaborated hand in hand with the operations team and are perfectly implemented • Evaluates the main activities and gives feedback to the internal stakeholders and customer
Job Dimensions: - Responsible for the Southern European area. Other areas might be added depending on the business development and personal achievements - Traveling: 2days/week - The actual role does not have direct reports, however he/she has the full responsibility for the customers, prospects and distributors w/i his area - Est. net sales 4mio euro in year 1. Expected to be doubled year on year

- Min. 5 years sales experience w/I the FMCG industry, preferably internationally - Experience with retail/private label - Successful track record in delivering business targets in highly competitive environment - Strong communication skills, internally and externally - Knowledge of Dutch, English and French is required - Flexible, pragmatic with a “can do” attitude - Results-driven, open, respectful and reliable individual - Strong negotiator
