We are looking for an experienced marketing & sales professional that can develop and drive forward Philips' new business unit in Women’s Health.

Philips Healthcare delivers advanced solutions for both health professionals to meet the needs of patients and empowered consumers for affordable healthcare whether in hospital or at home. Global Sales and Service (GSS) is the sales and service organization for Philips Healthcare. GSS is split out in three regions: Global Sales and Service Emerging Markets (GSSEM), Global Sales and Service International (GSSI) and Global Sales and Service North America (GSSNA). In their respective regions of responsibility the organizations manage the sale and maintenance of medical equipment manufactured by Philips Healthcare. These products are divided into four groups: Imaging Systems, Clinical Care Systems, Healthcare Informatics and Home Healthcare. GSSI and GSSEM employ over 7500 staff worldwide. The Women's Health Business Unit Director will be responsible for leading the new Women's Health Business within GSSI.

Job description

A. Business:
• Establishes Pilot Programs in Key Markets: Identification of headcount and strategy for sales, marketing, luminary relationships and go to market plans.
• Manages (reviews & controls) the cross modality Women’s Health Business Units within GSSI.
• Provides leadership to and facilitates the Women’s Health Business Unit Management & Teams within Key markets
• Plans and executes medium-and long term strategies in order to maximize Women’s Health market share of Philips’ products and solutions.
• Define market development and sales strategies required in mature and emerging markets to grow business.
• Identification/Prioritization of new business opportunities within GSSI based on customer needs.
• Identifies shared activities/services which increase efficiency, quality and profitability.

B. Upstream marketing:
• Develops Women’s Health Market knowledge, communicates economic, reimbursement trends and competitive information, pertinent to specific Women's Healthcare initiatives across modalities for mature and emerging markets.
• Define and prioritize required portfolio for emerging and mature markets.
• Prioritize activities in regards to ‘local for local products’.
• Provides Business Unit and GSSI with monthly business updates.
• Works with Services to define competitive pricing, required additional services etc.

C. Downstream marketing:
• Decision on product pricing and positioning based on Key Market inputs
• Reviews and controls Business Unit results in GSSI
• Initiates process changes if required
• Recommends & reviews “Go to market” plans of Key Markets

Measurement Criteria: Order Intake, Integral EBIT, Growth, Market Shares.
You’ll report directly into GSS International Business Unit Director.

Job criteria

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Sales, Marketing or equivalent 
• Minimum 10 years experience in Sales and Marketing
• Extensive background in Women’s Health Breast- Mammography
• Good financial understanding
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communicator
• Independent and pro-active
• Drive for results
• Fluently in English
• Must be willing to travel at least 50% of the time (international)

Employee Benefits

Base salary max. €85.000,= gross per year + excellent other benefits (approx. 25% on top of base salary, bonus, holiday allowance, representation allowance, no own contribution for your pension, etc.). The location is negotiable (i.e. Paris, Hamburg, Eindhoven, London).
