As Technical Project Manager you supervise product development projects from the initial idea through to the eventual launch. For that purpose you put together a multidisciplinary team, with which you complete the project’s various stages.

Tasks and responsibilities:
• Coming up with technical solutions in deliberation with your team
• Analyzing and building on the project proposition and specifying requirements for the project
• Managing boundary conditions and involved risks and taking corrective actions if necessary
• Setting up a review structure that provides optimal insight into the current status of a project

Job description

• You are a strong leader, creative and analytical
• You are a team player and a coach
• You have a ‘hands-on’ approach and good communication skills.
• You have a Master or Bachelor Degree in mechanical engineering (preferably) or electrical engineering
• More than 3 years experience in managing international multidisciplinary R&D projects
• It is essential to have a broad experience in product development preferably with the development of mass-manufactured consumer products. Additional experience in production is a plus.
• Feeling for interpersonal processes; recognising different interests and taking decisions that benefit the project as well as the business
• Ability to motivate your colleagues
