Department description
The Business Center Eindhoven combines several back office functions in the commercial supply chain to achieve process efficiencies. By doing so, the Key Markets are enabled to increase quality time with their customer. The Business Center Eindhoven will support the Key Markets, starting with MCR (Multi Country Region) EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) and Benelux. A German, French and Belgian desk will be added and therefore they are searching native German and / or French speaking candidates. The scope will gradually expand over the next year when activities from other European Key Markets will be added. |

As Order Desk Officer you are responsible for management of sales orders (systems, options and upgrades) placed by Key Markets, overseeing and coordinating the entire order delivery process through pro-active collaboration with other Supply Chain functions such as Catalogue Management, Finance and Planning and Shipping. You will develop relationships with logistic teams in factories and Key Markets. Furthermore you are responsible for executing all order progressing activities in SAP and other supporting applications, including order screening for configuration completeness and order changes due to Customer or Factory requests.
Your tasks will include:
• Managing your own orders: making sure all parts of a customer order (from factories and 3rd party suppliers) are delivered to the warehouse or to the customer complete and on-time • Managing the order & requisitions, ensuring ICS (Internal Control Standards), SOx (Sarbanes Oxley legislation) and export control compliance • Supporting the return order processes • Completing archived files for your customers and countries • Responding pro-actively to missing items (MOA) or dead on arrival (DOA) claims and use assigned tools for reporting of these (VIPER) • Actively signal payment issues (credit blocks) blocking shipment and inform Finance & Accounting • Pro-active communication to customers (both internal as external) in a clear and customer centric way • Managing (minimize) height of Sales & Free stock and pro-actively signal to manager when systems are on stock longer than one month • Pro-actively escalate to manager in case of issues and delays in the supply chain • Supporting Supply Chain processes from a logistic point of view (e.g. Sales on shipment, Direct deliveries) |

• Bachelor degree (HBO) in business administration/logistics, or you finished vocational education (MBO) with relevant working experience • 1 to 3 years of experience in an operational environment • Order management experience is a must • Fluent in English, both in word and writing • Native speaker in one of the following languages: French or German • Knowledge of SAP is preferred
